Lunch 2.0 was originally started in Silicon Valley in 2006 by a few folks looking for a free lunch. They quickly found that there were lots of free lunches to be had, cool people to have them with, and cool companies to check out in the process!!

After it gained in popularity a few local Seattlites started to wonder why no one up here was buying the local Seattle geek crowd free lunch.... and the rest is history!!
